RANE SYSTEM ONE DJ System Brings the Vinyl Feel to a Standalone

The RANE SYSTEM ONE DJ system is here, and it’s changing what standalone DJ gear looks like. RANE calls it the world’s first motorised standalone DJ controller, and for once, that claim holds real weight. It blends real vinyl-style control with modern, laptop-free performance.

At the centre of the design are 7.2-inch aluminium motorised platters that spin like traditional turntables. This makes SYSTEM ONE the first standalone DJ system to offer true moving platters, aimed at scratch DJs, turntablists, and anyone who prefers hands-on control over jog wheels.

Standalone Power with Engine DJ and Streaming

The RANE SYSTEM ONE DJ system runs on Engine DJ, which means you can perform without a laptop. Instead, you can stream music over built-in Wi-Fi, load tracks from USB or SD cards, and install an internal hard drive for local storage.

In addition, Bluetooth support lets you connect external keyboards. At the same time, RANE’s OmniSource technology allows you to mix smoothly between local files, streaming services, and DJ software such as Serato DJ and Algoriddim djay.

Performance Tools, FX, and Sampler

The SYSTEM ONE features a high-definition touchscreen and a powerful onboard effects engine. You get over 25 main effects across six assignable slots.

These include 10 on-screen Touch FX and five knob-controlled Sweep FX. As a result, you can shape your sound quickly and creatively during a set.

There is also a built-in sampler. Because of this, triggering drops, loops, and one-shots becomes fast and intuitive. Overall, the layout stays clean, fast, and built for club use.

Price and Availability

The RANE SYSTEM ONE DJ system is priced at $2,499 / €2,499 / £2,199.

For DJs who grew up on turntables but want modern features like streaming, FX, and touchscreen control, SYSTEM ONE positions itself as a serious alternative to both traditional decks and all-in-one controllers.

Who It’s For

This system targets DJs who love vinyl but want modern features like streaming, touchscreen control, and standalone performance. If you want real platter feel without dragging a laptop into the booth, this setup delivers.

Hosted by the mighty DJ Craze, and frankly, RANE could not have chosen a better person for the job. A three-time DMC World Champion and one of the most respected turntablists in the game. Watching him push the machine shows exactly what it’s capable of — fast, fluid, and precise, with the feel of vinyl and the power of modern tech. If this unit performs at Craze’s level, it’s already in serious territory.
