DMC41 2026 – The World’s DJ Championships Return Home

The streets of London are set to shine once again. For one epic weekend in 2026, DJs from across the globe will return to the city for DMC41 London, the homecoming of the world’s most prestigious DJ competition. This is where turntablism legends are made, and history comes alive.

London first hosted the DMC World DJ Championships in 1985 when Roger Johnson claimed the inaugural title. Over the decades, the city has witnessed unforgettable moments: Ca$h Money’s groundbreaking scratch routine in 1988, DJ David spinning on his head at Wembley in 1991, Craze winning three consecutive championships by 2000, Kentaro scoring a perfect 100 in 2002, and 12-year-old DJ Rena taking gold in 2017. Events like the C2C vs Scratch Perverts battle at Hammersmith Palais in 2005 remain etched in DMC folklore. London has always been the heart of DJ culture, and DMC41 London 2026 promises to continue that legacy.

Four Days of Turntablism, Battles, and Celebration

From 12th to 15th November, DMC41 will fill Camden with competitions, parties, pop-ups, and live showcases. The Classic, Open, Scratch, and Supremacy categories will crown champions, while the DMC Hall of Fame Award honours icons of the craft. More than 3,000 DJs and fans from every corner of the globe will experience four days of non-stop action. The KOKO theatre, a Grade II listed venue, will host the main Saturday finals, returning the championships to one of its historic homes.

Who Will Take the Golden Turntables in 2026?

With competitors ranging from teenage prodigies to seasoned champions, the battle for the golden turntables will be fierce. Can DJ Fummy defend his Tokyo title? Will teen sensation The Kid RC3 make history on London soil? Only DMC41 London will reveal the next generation of DJ legends.

Tony Prince, DMC founder, says:
“DMC and London are forever connected. With new energy and passion, DMC41 will create champions, push boundaries, and inspire a new generation of DJs. London is ready to deliver again.”
