Recognised as the pinnacle of the world’s foremost electronic music summit, the Annual Music Festival (AMF) set ablaze the iconic Johan Cruijff Arena in a sold-out spectacle last year. Commemorating its monumental 10th anniversary, the event brought together an astounding 40,000 fans for an electrifying celebration. Renowned for its colossal lineups, the 2023 edition on October 20th lived up to its reputation of delivering awe-inspiring performances.

As AMF embarked on its second decade, it seamlessly blended established luminaries with fresh, headline-worthy talent. A constellation of artists, including Afrojack, Armin van Buuren, and Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, took center stage alongside the new vanguards of this era—Charlotte de Witte, James Hype, and MEDUZA. The festivities commenced with an exclusive DJ set by the dynamic Like Mike, followed by spellbinding performances from Purple Disco Machine, MEDUZA, and James Hype.

Armin van Buuren reaffirmed his status as an undisputed tastemaker, while Afrojack and Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike kept the festival’s vibrant energy alive with monumental sets. Charlotte de Witte delivered a mesmerising dose of techno, and R3HAB’s fiery performance left an indelible mark. The grand finale belonged to the iconic hardstyle producer Headhunterz, who closed the festival in spectacular fashion—one of his final performances before his imminent retirement from the DJing scene.
