In a harmonious convergence of musical prowess, iconic electronic duo Underworld has joined forces with Irish artist KETTAMA to deliver a captivating new single. The collaborative effort, aptly titled ‘g-town euphoria (luna),’ serves as a reimagining of Underworld’s October release, ‘denver luna,’ expertly infused with KETTAMA’s distinctive bass perspective.
Available in both an expansive eight-minute-plus version and a succinct three-minute edit, ‘g-town euphoria (luna)’ has been unleashed across digital platforms under the banner of Smith Hyde Productions.
The original ‘denver luna,’ boasting an a capella rendition, marked one of the select few tracks that Underworld unveiled during their live performances this year. Noteworthy additions to their repertoire include ‘and the colour red,’ ‘gene pool,’ and ‘strawberry hotel.’
As enthusiasts await the release of ‘g-town euphoria (luna),’ Underworld is set to embark on a highly anticipated UK and European tour commencing in mid-March. The tour, which includes four sold-out shows in Amsterdam, culminates at Manchester’s Aviva Studios in April.
In a parallel narrative, KETTAMA has been making waves with the recent unveiling of the music video for ‘Fly Away XTC’ and his remix of the Special Request and Novelist collaboration, ‘Sliver.’
