Space Riccione, Italy’s Newest Clubbing Haven Opening 2024.

Space Ibiza, the iconic club that closed its doors seven years ago, has exciting news for clubland. The renowned establishment has announced its plans to open a new venue in Italy next year, aptly named Space Riccione. Positioned as the “new generation club,” Space Riccione will feature four distinct areas: the Arena, Garden, Terrace, and Lounge.

With its grand opening slated for Spring 2024, Space Riccione aims to establish itself as a beacon of international club culture right from the start. The venue will host a diverse lineup of performances, featuring acclaimed acts and renowned DJs, ensuring an immersive experience that spans both day and night.

The announcement, shared via Instagram, was accompanied by a profound message from the Space team: “It’s coming,” along with an Italian phrase encompassing values of freedom, transgression, love, diversity, harmony, friendship, empathy, connection, and, of course, music.

Located in Riccione, on the enchanting Adriatic Coast of Italy, the venue promises to capture the essence of Space Ibiza’s legacy. The team behind the new venture has already launched social media pages for Space Riccione, proclaiming proudly, “Space Ibiza announces moves to Italy – becoming Space Riccione!”

Pepe Roselló, the legendary owner of the Space brand, expressed his delight at extending the 27-year history of Space Ibiza to Riccione, an iconic destination renowned for entertainment. Roselló emphasised that love for music and mutual respect, hallmarks of all their events, would continue to play a central role in this new chapter, which holds immense promise for all involved.

Ever since its closure in 2016, rumours of Space reopening have circulated, igniting anticipation among devoted fans. The most recent reports from 2021 suggested that Pepe Roselló envisioned a multi-faceted establishment encompassing a bar, restaurant, and club night in Ibiza’s San Antonio. The collaboration between ECulture, an international equity marketing and entertainment company, and the luxury dining company, Cipriani Group, has made the revival of Space Ibiza possible.
