Labels We Love – Hospital Records

A true heavyweight on the drum and bass scene!

Hospital Records is a renowned independent record label based in London, UK. The label was founded in 1996 by Tony Colman and Chris Goss, and has since become one of the most respected and influential drum and bass labels in the world. In addition to their music releases, Hospital Records is also known for their Hospitality events.

Tony Colman and Chris Goss started Hospital Records with the release of their own music under the name London Elektricity. They had previously been involved in the drum and bass scene as DJs and radio hosts, and wanted to start a label that would reflect their passion for the music. The label’s name comes from the fact that Colman used to work as a doctor, and the original Hospital Records office was located in a disused hospital building in south London.

Hospital Records has a reputation for discovering and promoting new talent in the drum and bass scene. Some of the label’s most successful artists include London Elektricity, Netsky, High Contrast, Danny Byrd, S.P.Y, and Metrik. The label also releases music from established artists such as Camo & Krooked, Fred V & Grafix, and Nu:Tone.

Hospital Records has been home to some of the most talented and successful drum and bass artists on the scene. The label’s roster includes a diverse range of artists, from established names to up-and-coming talent. Some of the label’s top artists include:
