We Review – Santonio Echols – The Thirty Two EP
Written by HMR on 12/07/2019
With chunky bass lines, signature edits and an overall embodiment of Shift Imprint’s philosophy to adhere to the roots and origins of Techno and House while allowing creative space for mutations and hybrids to further push the envelope forward for the DJs, and the listeners alike. The first Single “Trembles” brings a soulful yet rugged feel with a pulsating baseline to make your bones shake, a theme that resonates throughout the entire EP as a whole.
Tracks like “Shake it” and “The Majestic” give you some more fire power with those driving grooves and rhythms that can grind a dance floor with their lush production, where “Burner” takes you deep into the intelligent noises and sounds that we have all come to love and cherish in the Detroit sound. Catch Santonio Echols live Sundays 11PM-12PM GMT UK- (6PM Eatern – 3PM Pacific) right here on Housemasters Radio bringing his legendary DJ sets to the world wide masses.
