We Review – Andrew Lozano’s Paradise Garage EP

That West Coast Sound coming in fresh!

When the conversation about west coast house comes up, Dufflebag Recordings is always at the top of the list. When talent like Andrew Lozano gets added to the roster things heat up a little bit more. The Paradise Garage EP showcases a pair of Jackin house tracks that evoke a timeless sound whilst keeping with a modern vibe.

On ‘Paradise Garage’  the EP’s title track, chunky drum edits and thick wall of bass blend equally with one of the funkiest grooves. A modern take on a classic house sound with choice vocal samples reminding us of the cornerstones of American house music.

With ‘Don’t Leave’ we get a vocal lament to “Please don’t leave me girl” with a syncopated groove in of itself, while mixing down with a smooth yet tribal influenced drum arrangement teasing you more and more as each note progresses.

The Paradise Garage EP is now available on Traxsource and other digital music providers, and is another release from this west coast heavy weight from Dufflebag recordings. Each track has been produced and arranged to showcase the jackin sounds of house music, and is perfect addition to the DJs and listeners of House music alike.
