K69 / K-Code(Formerly known as DJ-K), a veteran behind the decks started his journey back in 1991 when he was entranced by rave culture and the varied music it brought with it. By 1994 he had his first residency in a local club as well as guest slots at Es Paradis and various Ibiza bars. 1996 was the year things took off. After winning Muzik Magazine’s “Bedroom Bedlam” he became a regular on the UK Club scene playing the likes of Gatecrasher, Progress, Sundissential, The Ministry of sound and The Red Box (Dublin) on a regular basis.

Pushing his pumping house and early trance sound in 1997, he was awarded the Radio 1 / Muzik Magazine award for “Best Bedroom Bedlam DJ and interviewed live on Radio 1 by Judge Jules. A Roller coaster of superclubs followed and in 2001 DJ-K Played the biggest club in the world,”Privelage-Ibiza” at the Xtravanganza closing party. The highlight of his career was playing to over 12,000 clubbers at the Exit Festival in Serbia in 2002 where he played techno and tribal house vibes as the sun rose over the river Danube.

Rhythm Nation was born in July 2014 and within months was regularly hitting No.1 in the Mixcloud trending charts. Originally launching on DI.FM the world’s biggest internet radio station he has took the show to Groove Flow, Earth Breach, No Grief FM and topped off 2016 with a Christmas No.1 in 2 mixcloud charts with “Future Retro Dec 2016”. 2018 see’s Rhythm Nation return to the airwaves on Housemasters radio on the 1st Saturday of every month at 5-7pm starting on 2nd December 2017.Now with over 100 Mixcloud no.1’s under his belt and 50 consecutive its far to say Rhythm Nation is one of the most popular upfront dance music shows on internet radio.

K69 has made waves on dancefloors in 2017 with all of his productions charting in Beatport or Traxsource and his track “Boxed in Ibiza” is now Vamos Music best selling track with “So addicted” K69’s best selling track and has cemented itself as an Ibiza Anthem. Without a doubt his fusion of new house beats with influence from the 70’s to the 90 is proving popular ondance-floors and following his popular appearance to a packed Fortress at this years Beat-Herder festival he is in demand for both his music and ability to rock a dancefloor from behind the decks. K’s love of the many colours of dance music has also started producing under his Techy alias “K-Code” making tracks with a very underground feel influenced by his love of techno under the last 25 years.
